The Haryana Women’s Commission has taken cognisance of the Faridabad gang rape case, expressing serious concern over the incident. Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia has directed the Faridabad Police Commissioner, Satender Kumar Gupta, to submit a detailed report outlining the facts of the case, progress of the investigation, and the action taken against the accused so far. The Commission said it is closely monitoring the case to ensure a fair, speedy, and transparent investigation, and stressed the need for strict action to ensure justice for the victim and to deter such crimes against women.
