Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams will become the oldest female player to feature in the Australian Open main draw at 45, after receiving a women’s wildcard entry. The tournament begins on January 18. Venus will surpass Kimiko Date’s record, who competed at 44 in 2015. The former world number one has not played outside the United States since 2023
