“Ama Police Samiti” Meeting Held in Tirtol
In an effort to control the increasing trend of crime and drug dealings in the locality, a meeting of “Ama Police Samiti” was organized at Tirtol Police Station.
This meeting was meant to facilitate direct communication between the officers of the police station and the locals regarding matters such as theft, black liquor, ganja, and brown sugar business in the locality.
Sub Divisional Police Officer Ajay Kumar Das conducted the meeting, with the participation of Inspector In-Charge Bansidhar Pradhan, Additional Inspector In-Charge Raghunath Tudu, Sub-Inspector Jaydeep Mohanty, Assistant Sub-Inspector Gunarani Jena, and other members of the police station.
Citizens from 34 gram panchayats also joined the discussion and expressed their views regarding how to improve the effectiveness of policing.
It was emphasized by the police officials during the discussion that the maintenance of communal unity and peace in the locality is essential and depends greatly on the cooperation of the locals.“Ama Police Samiti”
