Car collided with tree; Youth is badly hurt and hospitalized at Soro Hospital
The mishap occurred near Shani Mandir of Kamarapala village under Aghirapada Gram Panchayat of Oupada block in Balasore district. OD 02 CC 3604 registered car collided with a sal tree. According to sources, the car was speeding while moving from Oupada to Soro.
The name of the driver has been revealed to be Gopal Biswal of Dagarapada village. Oupada police arrived at the spot and started investigating the matter.
It may be mentioned that OD 02 CC 3604 registered Kia car was moving at a very fast pace and the driver lost control over the car, resulting in the collision with the tree on the side of the road. The front part of the car was totally damaged due to the collision.
After the mishap, villagers came to the spot and saved the man trapped in the car. He was immediately taken to Soro Hospital since he was in a critical state of health.
Oupada police confiscated the car and brought it to the police station for further inquiries.
