Ashok Pratihari, former Congress MLA candidate from Rajnagar in Kendrapara district, has resigned from the party.
He expressed dissatisfaction with Odisha PCC President Bhakta Das. Sources say he was unhappy after facing criticism following his defeat in the last general election.
Ashok Pratihari had contested from the Rajnagar Assembly constituency as a Congress candidate in the previous election.
There are indications that he may soon join Mohammed Moquim’s newly formed Odisha Janata Congress party.
