The Centre has created a three-year Public Private Partnership (PPP) project pipeline worth over ₹17 lakh crore to accelerate infrastructure development across the country, as announced in the Union Budget 2025–26. The Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) said the pipeline includes 852 projects across central infrastructure ministries, states and Union Territories. According to the Ministry of Finance, the initiative aims to provide early visibility of upcoming PPP projects, enabling investors and developers to plan better and make informed investment decisions, while strengthening private sector participation in national infrastructure growth.
