An effective distribution program related to Antyodaya Housing Scheme work orders, ration cards, and allowances was arranged for Rahama from Kujang block in Jagatsinghpur district.
The distribution ceremony was organized in front of the statue of Biju Patnaik close to the college square. It commenced with floral offerings from Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education Sampad Chandra Swain. The event continued with the lamp being lit by the dignitaries.
As the guest of honor, Minister Swain gave out benefits to the deserving beneficiaries. Besides him, other personalities who attended the distribution ceremony include Block Development Officer Deepak Prasad Swain, Minister’s representative Dillip Behera, BJP district vice-president Tapan Tripathy, Pratap Chandra Das, Sarpanch Bipin Biswal of Agapal Gram Panchayat, and other panchayat members.
On this occasion:
Ration cards were given out to 5,804 eligible beneficiaries.
Work orders were sanctioned to 794 beneficiaries for Antyodaya Housing Scheme, out of which 215 orders were given out on this occasion.
Also, Person with disability beneficiaries were given assistance cards by the minister.
Other personalities that graced the occasion included the Coordinator of the Paradip Constituency, Prasanna Kumar Swain; Rahama Mandal President, Sarat Chandra Swain; Secretary, Kartik Sahu; Youth President, Rajat Kumar Nandi; among others.
