The incident happened during a match of the J&K Champions League, a locally organised tournament. Police noticed the flag when the player was batting, and it was captured on camera.
Officials said they are checking why the flag was displayed, whether any permission was taken, and if tournament rules were violated. The cricketer being questioned is identified as Furqan Bhat. Police clarified that no action has been taken yet and the matter is still under investigation. The tournament is not linked to any national or international cricket body.
