There was a grand Kalash Yatra in Titlagarh on the occasion of inauguration and the process of installing the new idol at the recently built Shri Ganesh Temple near Maharaj Sagar.
Around 1,500 women, all dressed in their traditional sarees, took part in the yatra, adding a festive feel to the event. This was an enthusiastically participated event where there was huge local participation.
Naveen Jain, MLA of that area, and Mamata Devi Jain, Chairperson of the Municipality, both participated in the Yatra and inspired the participants. Traditional songs and music enhanced the grandness of the Yatra.
As part of the religious program that is being observed there in event , rituals will continue for coming days. On Tuesday, there will be special puja and Naam Yajna for 24 hours while Pran Pratistha and Idol Installation will be organized on Thursday, and Purnahuti along with offering Prasad will happen on Friday.
Social organizations and municipality have provided drinking water to the devotees during the entire yatra. As it was a very large gathering, elaborate security arrangements were made by police administration for its successful conduct.
