In the year-end episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described 2025 as a memorable year for India, highlighting major achievements in security, space, sports, and culture. He cited Operation Sindoor as a symbol of India’s firm stand on national security, celebrated Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla becoming the first Indian to reach the International Space Station, and praised the Indian women’s cricket team’s World Cup victory. The Prime Minister also lauded global cultural initiatives and encouraged youth participation in nation-building through innovation and leadership.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the future and encouraged young people to take part in building a strong India. He invited the youth to join the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue and praised the new ideas seen in the Smart India Hackathon 2025. PM Modi said such efforts show the talent and confidence of India’s youth and prove that the country is moving ahead with determination and hope.
